Our Story
Once a movie theatre for members of the US Army and their families, the historic Presidio Theatre has been reborn as a vibrant home for dance, theatre, music, cinema, and all forms of performing arts. Built in 1939 with WPA funding, this venue served as an entertainment hub for nearly six decades. After being left vacant for over twenty years, it was rehabilitated and reopened to the public in September 2019, now presenting a diverse array of performances and available for rentals.
