Our Story

PRESENT NOW was founded in 2012 by social entrepreneurs and philanthropists Melanie Neumann and Erica Fisher, who met at their children’s preschool. United by their commitment to families and society, they created the Presents Program to support children affected by domestic violence. Inspired by their volunteer work at shelters, they deliver personalized gift boxes to children on special occasions, helping to foster a loving relationship between safe parents and their children during the healing process.

Our Impact

As of August 2024, PRESENT NOW has provided 18,266 personalized gifts to children living in domestic violence shelters across 15 states, supporting 152 shelters and engaging over 344 volunteers.
