Our Story

In 1957, Mrs. Mable Rasmussen opened her home to girls from rural Alaskan communities, providing a safe haven in Fairbanks. Today, Presbyterian Hospitality House continues this legacy, offering a ‘faith-friendly’ traditional foster care program that empowers Alaskan youth to become leaders in their communities.

Impact

As the only program in Alaska catering to youth aged 3 to 23 with mental health and behavioral challenges, PHH has supported children from over 160 communities statewide. By meeting kids where they are, PHH provides essential support during their most critical times.

Why Donate?

Your contribution is an investment in the future of Alaskan communities. Help PHH deliver better outcomes than traditional systems while ensuring high school graduation for all eligible youth.
