Our Story

New Destiny is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in New York City, established in 1994 to support one of the city’s most vulnerable populations: survivors of domestic violence and their children. By focusing on building affordable housing and enhancing access to housing resources, New Destiny is committed to creating a safer future for these families.

Impact

As the only organization in New York City focused on building affordable housing specifically for domestic violence survivors, New Destiny has achieved remarkable results. In FY 2022, nearly 100% of the families housed remained stable, with 97% living free from violence.
