Our Story

Pregnancy Resources of Abilene is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to women facing unexpected pregnancies. Since 1983, PRA has served approximately 60,000 women and their families by offering essential services such as pregnancy testing, material support, and community referrals. Over the years, PRA has evolved to meet the needs of the community, adding ultrasound exams in 2004, launching the 'Learning 4 Life' education program in 2011, and introducing grief services in 2022.

In 2022, PRA provided almost 4,000 services to over 1,800 clients, showcasing its vital role in supporting women during unexpected pregnancies.
