Our Story

Founded in 2004 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Power Packs Project was established to ensure that low-income children are well-fed over the weekend, ready to learn on Monday. By integrating healthy, low-cost meals with educational tools and recipes, Power Packs Project addresses the rising number of food-insecure children and their families. The organization envisions a community where every child has three nutritious meals a day, seven days a week, believing that this is not just a life choice but a fundamental human right.

Our Impact

In the previous school year and summer programs, Power Packs provided over 519,437 meals, and we are on track to surpass that number this year. With more than 5,975 volunteer hours dedicated to our mission, we have served over 58,161 children right in our community!
