The Story of Will Hudson
Will Hudson's love for life was truly contagious. Born and raised in Auburn, AL, he pursued his dreams at John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH, where he studied Political Science and English. In 2015, Will faced a life-altering diagnosis of osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. Despite the challenges, he remained determined to graduate, earning his degree in 2018 and continuing on to law school at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Throughout his 20s, Will battled cancer with unwavering positivity, even proposing to his girlfriend, Kate, shortly before receiving a diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome. His journey included numerous treatments, blood transfusions, and ultimately a stem cell transplant. Tragically, Will passed away on August 18, 2020, but his legacy lives on through the Power of Will, an organization dedicated to advocating for better outcomes for sarcoma patients.
