Power of Place Learning Communities

Our Story

The launch of Power of Place Learning Communities marks a significant milestone in a journey that began in 2018 with the Essex County Learning Community. Incubated through the Reimagine Learning Fund, this initiative was designed to support teachers and administrators in meeting the needs of marginalized students. With funding from the Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation, educators are provided with the time and space to challenge their assumptions and develop a diverse set of skills to reach all students effectively.

Our Impact

Power of Place Learning Communities serves nearly 130 schools across 16 districts, impacting approximately 65,000 students through professional learning experiences that foster reflection, connection, and innovation.
