Our Story

Poverty Creek Trails Coalition (PCTC) began with a passionate group of outdoor enthusiasts who recognized the urgent need for trail maintenance and construction in their community. Over the past eight years, PCTC has transformed the Pandapas Pond Trail System by collaborating with local organizations such as the USFS and New River Valley Bicycle Association. Today, dedicated volunteers continue to enhance the outdoor experience by maintaining and improving multi-use trails for everyone to enjoy.

Our Impact

PCTC maintains over 35 miles of trails with the help of more than 1,500 volunteers, ensuring safe and accessible outdoor recreation for all ages and abilities.
