Pound Hounds ResQ began as a passionate initiative by Donna Darrell, who started volunteering at the New York Animal Care Centers in 2010. Witnessing the heartbreaking reality of thousands of animals being euthanized due to lack of space or treatable conditions, she recognized the urgent need for intervention. By fostering dogs in need, Pound Hounds ResQ has transformed the lives of countless animals, turning them from death row candidates into cherished family members.
