Our Story

Potluck in the Park has been a beacon of hope for the hungry in Portland since 1991. This entirely volunteer-run organization believes that food is a human right and that hunger is a human wrong. Every Sunday, volunteers come together to serve hot meals, fostering a sense of community and dignity for those in need.

Each week, Potluck in the Park serves between 400 to 600 meals at a cost of just $1.50 per meal. This initiative not only provides nourishment but also creates social connections and resources for individuals facing food insecurity.
