In 2020, Board members united to transform the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Through events and mentorship programs, they connected and supported People of Color (POC), leading to an overwhelming response. Project Potluck is just getting started, with ambitious plans to ensure a colorful future for CPG.
Project Potluck addresses the stark underrepresentation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the CPG industry. While POC make up 40% of the U.S. population, only 16% hold leadership roles in CPG Natural Products. Uniquely led entirely by POC, this initiative is a beacon of hope in a predominantly white sector.
