Our Story

The Post Traumatic Growth Institute was founded by USMC Captain Adam Korkow after his return from Iraq, where he faced the tragic loss of fellow Marines to suicide. Recognizing the urgent need for effective leadership and support for military personnel dealing with trauma, Adam's father, Ken Korkow, proposed a faith-based approach to address post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Since receiving approval from military leadership in 2010, PTGI has collaborated with established military ministries to provide essential faith-based resources to military families.

Our Impact

PTGI works directly with military personnel suffering from PTSD, helping to stabilize their lives and prevent suicides, divorce, substance abuse, and other life challenges. The organization fosters growth into responsible leaders.
