Our Story

Founded in 2000, Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impacting Program (PARTI) was established to provide activities that foster racial equity, safety, culture, wellness, and gender equality. In response to the concerns of African American students in San Jose, Winston Ashby developed an action plan to support disenfranchised youth and promote positive community connections.

PARTI has made significant strides in offering socio-emotional support to disenfranchised youth, addressing core issues that hinder their academic success. The organization has formed valuable partnerships and has been recognized for its positive impact on African American males and youth of color.
