Posada Guadalupe
EIN: 80-0288520 · San Antonio, TX
Our Story
Posada Guadalupe began in the 1980s when a compassionate woman opened her home to Central Americans fleeing civil wars. Over the years, this ministry has evolved to focus on sick or injured immigrants and young men who have aged out of state care. Under the leadership of Friar Phillip Ley since 2006, Posada Guadalupe has provided essential shelter and support to these young men, relying on community donations and grants to sustain its vital operations.
Impact
Posada Guadalupe offers shelter, food, and social services to young men who have aged out of state-run care, preventing homelessness and aiding their transition into productive lives.
