Our Story

Founded in 1967, the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC) serves as a beacon of hope for disadvantaged individuals in the Portland area. Initially established as a community-based training center, POIC has evolved to meet the diverse needs of the community, including the creation of Rosemary Anderson Prep, an alternative high school, in 1983.

Impact

Every year, POIC positively impacts over 3,000 students, trainees, and families, focusing on the success of underserved youth and adults.
