Founded in 2012 by Kaig Lightner, Portland Community Football Club (PCFC) emerged from the need to provide equitable access to competitive soccer for youth in Portland's diverse, low-income neighborhoods. Recognizing the financial barriers that prevent talented young athletes from participating in high-quality soccer programs, PCFC was established to create a safe and inclusive environment where all youth can thrive.
