PorchLight A Family Justice Center

Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Candace Cooledge, PorchLight A Family Justice Center emerged from a collaboration with the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office. After four years of dedicated planning, PorchLight opened its doors in February 2021, becoming one of only two Family Justice Centers in Colorado. With the support of over 75 partner agencies, PorchLight offers a coordinated approach to assist victims of violence in Jefferson and Gilpin counties.
