Our Story

The Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center, founded by Janet Pomeroy in the early 1970s, began as a small initiative to support children and adults with disabilities. From humble beginnings with just six teens and two volunteers, the center has grown to serve nearly 2,000 individuals weekly, providing vital educational, recreational, and vocational services.
