In 1997, Florham Park Police Officer Patrick Montuore initiated a four-day bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington, D.C. to honor law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This simple idea has blossomed into the Police Unity Tour, which now boasts nearly 2,600 members across nine chapters, all dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum.
