Our Story

In 1980, members of Plymouth Congregational Church in downtown Seattle were moved by the sight of individuals sleeping on their doorstep. This prompted Rev. David Colwell to inspire the congregation to take action, leading to the establishment of Plymouth Housing. Since then, it has grown into a vital organization dedicated to developing and operating low-income housing for those facing homelessness.

Impact

Plymouth Housing has successfully provided nearly 1,400 individuals with permanent homes and essential support services. With over 95% of residents maintaining stable housing, the organization delivered 33,517 supportive services in 2022 alone, helping residents thrive.
