Our Story

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps was established in 1971 by Mark and Carol Petty, with Donald Tripp as the first board president. This organization was created to provide talented percussionists and woodwind players from Plymouth High School Band with opportunities to perform outside of the traditional marching band season. The Corps plays music from various historical periods, including the War of 1812 and the Revolutionary War, showcasing the rich historical value of these eras.
