Our Story

Established in 1944 during World War II, the Plymouth Community Fund was created to meet the needs of the greater Plymouth community. Over the years, it evolved into the Plymouth Community United Way, continuing its mission for over 80 years. Today, PCUW addresses the basic needs of residents in Plymouth, Canton, and Western Wayne County, ensuring that support is available for the young, the elderly, and everyone in between. By focusing on systemic change, PCUW believes in the power of community collaboration to create lasting impact.
