Bikes for Tikes

Our Story

The journey of Bikes for Tikes began with a challenge from Bechtel Management to the UA Local 598 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. Two dedicated union members, Randy Walli and Brad Chitty, accepted this challenge and successfully raised funds to deliver 43 bikes to Toys for Tots in the inaugural year. Since then, Bikes for Tikes has grown exponentially, distributing over 15,000 bikes to families in crisis and special needs children throughout the northwestern United States.

With over 15,000 bicycles distributed, Bikes for Tikes significantly promotes healthy and active lifestyles within the community, especially for families in need and special needs children.
