Our Story

The Plum Community Library began its journey in 1991 with a humble collection of 1,000 donated books in a one-room storefront. Over the years, it has grown significantly, moving to a larger facility and culminating in the construction of a new 7,000 square foot library in 2002, with further expansions completed in 2009. This growth reflects a commitment to providing free and equal access to library materials and services, fostering lifelong learning and community partnerships.
