Our Story

Once a family camp, Pleasant Bay Community Boating was purchased in 2014, transforming the historic property into a hub for sailing operations. The campus, which includes four dwellings and a boathouse, is dedicated to providing accessible boating experiences for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Impact

PBCB offers adaptive sailing programs that cater to individuals with physical or cognitive challenges, allowing them to experience the joy of being on the water. The organization has expanded its adaptive sailing and kayaking programs, ensuring safe and enjoyable lessons for all participants.
