Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Curtis Institute of Music graduate Stanford Thompson and philanthropist Carole Haas Gravagno, Play On Philly is dedicated to delivering high-quality music education to underserved children in Philadelphia. With a commitment to developing essential life skills, POP has expanded from its flagship Music Center at St. Francis de Sales School to five locations across the city, engaging the community through partnerships, events, and performances.
