Play It Forward (PIF) was established to revive the spirit of music education that was lost due to defunded public programs. By providing equal access to music lessons and gently-used instruments, PIF helps children discover their potential and passion. Every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creativity, regardless of their background or financial situation.

Making a Lasting Impact

In just the last two years, PIF has successfully placed over 200 donated instruments into the hands of eager students and schools. With more than 262 students receiving lessons, PIF has delivered an impressive 4,716 hours of music instruction, enriching the lives of children in the Portland area.
