Plateau Outreach Ministries (POM) was established in 1998 with a mission to assist neighbors in crisis, initially focusing on the elderly through a generous gift from the Estate of Catherine A. Kohl. Over the years, POM has expanded its services to support children, individuals, and families in need, addressing the critical lack of social service resources in rural King and Pierce counties.
