Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Mary Anne and Mark Neiner, Planting Possibilities is dedicated to creating a greenhouse that provides employment and job training for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in Lake County, Indiana. Inspired by their son’s diagnosis, the founders advocate for meaningful work opportunities, empowering individuals to thrive.

Impact

Planting Possibilities addresses the employment gap for adults with disabilities, where two-thirds are not working even in a strong economy. By partnering with local businesses, the organization creates inclusive job opportunities and offers vocational rehabilitation services.
