Our Story

Founded in January 1997 by Rev. Mike Coupe, Place of Hope is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to helping individuals struggling with alcoholism, addiction, and homelessness. Starting in a nursing home building donated by Forrest Preston, the organization has grown to include a licensed alcohol and drug treatment center, a homeless shelter, and various outreach programs.

Impact

Place of Hope has made a significant impact in South Central Tennessee by providing free addiction recovery services, temporary shelter, and food assistance. Countless individuals have benefited from these services, achieving sobriety and reintegrating into society.
