Our Story

Founded in the mid-90s, Pizza Oven Charities was inspired by the legacy of the Pizza Oven restaurant, established in 1956 by Joe "Jr" DiPietro and his wife Georgia. This charity was created to give back to the Stark County community that has shown unwavering support over the years. Since its inception, over a million dollars has been distributed to various local charities, with the annual Benefit Dance initiated in 2006 to celebrate the restaurant's 50th anniversary, continuing to honor Joe DiPietro's memory after his passing in 2017.
