Our Story

Pivotal Connections, originally founded as Silicon Valley Children’s Fund in 1989, has evolved to focus on the educational needs of foster youth. After merging with TeenForce in 2017, Pivotal continues to provide essential resources to young individuals in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Impact

Over 35 years, Pivotal has positively impacted the lives of more than 25,000 foster youth, significantly enhancing their high school and college graduation rates. In the 2021-2022 academic year alone, Pivotal awarded $432K in scholarships and provided over 5,800 hours of personalized coaching.
