Pittsburgh Flying Disc (PFD) was established in 1981 and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2017. This volunteer-driven organization is dedicated to fostering the sport of disc golf in the greater Pittsburgh area through community involvement, education, and a variety of events.
PFD has successfully organized numerous tournaments, including the prestigious 2015 Pro Disc Golf World Championships, which significantly elevated the status of disc golf in the region.
