Our Story

The Pittsburgh Chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) was established to promote equity, equal employment, and voter education. This organization focuses on providing programs that extend democracy, education, and opportunity to traditionally disenfranchised communities, inspired by the legacy of A. Philip Randolph, a prominent labor leader and civil rights activist.

Impact

With over 600 graduates and an impressive 80% program completion rate, APRI Pittsburgh has successfully placed 70% of its participants in family-sustaining careers across various sectors, including manufacturing, construction, and healthcare.
