Our Story
Founded in 1932 by a group of passionate individuals, Pit and Balcony Theatre has evolved from intimate home performances to a vibrant community theatre. With over 200 members, the troupe found its first home in a carriage house, affectionately known as 'the Barn'. Despite challenges, including a devastating fire in 1943, the community's dedication led to the establishment of a permanent theatre in 1949, enriching the cultural landscape of the Great Lakes Bay Region.
