Our Story

In 1983, Reverend Doctor Tom Graves and a local landowner recognized the urgent need for low-income senior housing in Plano, Texas. With the guidance of Don Learner and support from the Ministerial Alliance, they established Plano Community Homes, a grassroots initiative aimed at creating affordable housing solutions. The first phase of housing was completed in 1986, and since then, the organization has expanded to include multiple properties and services dedicated to low-income seniors and veterans.

Impact

For over 30 years, Plano Community Homes has provided HUD-subsidized housing, significantly enhancing the quality of life for seniors by offering affordable living options and essential services.
