Our Story
Pioneer Bible Camp began in the early 1960s when John and Sue Lovegrove hosted camp sessions in a borrowed sheep corral in Howe, Idaho. By 1965, they transitioned to Palisades Bible Camp, where they served until 1975. As the number of campers grew, the camp leadership recognized the need for a dedicated facility. In 1973, Pioneer Bible Camp was established under the directorship of Dwight Hagee to serve the southern region. Over the years, the camp has evolved significantly, moving to various locations before finally purchasing 65 acres in Liberty, Utah, in 1990. Today, Pioneer Bible Camp features modern facilities, including seven fully plumbed buildings and 14 cabins, hosting nine weeks of summer camp along with retreats and family events throughout the year.
