Our Story

The Pink Boots Society was founded in 2007 by Teri Fahrendorf during her 139-day gypsy brewing road trip. Discovering many women brewers feeling isolated, Teri created a list called 'The Pink Boots Society,' inspired by her pink boots. This initiative blossomed into a supportive community aimed at uplifting women and non-binary individuals in the fermented beverage industry through education and connection.

Impact

Since its inception, Pink Boots Society has awarded over 300 scholarships, empowering women and non-binary individuals to advance their careers in the fermented beverage industry. The organization has become a leader in promoting diversity and inclusion, providing essential educational resources and a vibrant community.
