About PING!

Providing Instruments for the Next Generation (PING!) is a dedicated community nonprofit organization based in Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois. Founded in 1998, PING! believes that every child deserves access to music education, regardless of their family's financial situation. This volunteer-run organization has successfully provided instruments and music enrichment opportunities to students in grades 4 through 12, ensuring that the joy of music is available to all.

Impact of PING!

Since its inception, PING! has positively impacted over 750 students, with 120-140 participating annually in local bands and orchestras. By ensuring that no student in need is turned away, PING! promotes equity and access to essential music education.
