The Pilgrim Center has been a cornerstone of community building in midtown Kansas City for nearly 50 years. Established in response to rising violence and crime in the late 1960s, it evolved from the Westport Allen Center and merged with the Pilgrim Chapel in 1997. Today, the Pilgrim Center focuses on improving community health and resilience through diverse programs and partnerships.
