Our Story

Founded in 1928, the Pikes Peak Community Foundation emerged from the vision of local citizens who recognized the need for a permanent charitable endowment to enhance the quality of life in the Pikes Peak Region. Initially established as the Colorado Springs Community Trust, it evolved into a community foundation in 1996, merging with the Trust in 2009. Over the past 90 years, the foundation has invested over $125 million into the community, supporting various initiatives and nonprofits.
