Our Story

The Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank was established in the 1970s to address the needs of homeless seniors in downtown Seattle. As part of the revitalization of Pike Place Market, this center provides essential services to individuals aged 55 and older, including free meals, engaging activities, and vital social services.

Impact

Annually, the Pike Market Senior Center serves approximately 1,200 seniors, while the Food Bank assists over 4,000 clients with free groceries and ready-to-eat meals, combating food insecurity in the community.
