Our Story

In 1967, over 1,500 students began their journey at Pierce College, originally known as Clover Park Community College. Since its transformation in 1986, the college has expanded its campuses and programs to better serve the community. The Pierce College Foundation was revitalized in 1994 to support student scholarships, becoming an essential part of the college's mission to provide educational opportunities for all.

Impact

Pierce College has earned accolades for its dedication to student success, including recognition as Washington state's most successful community college by CNN Money in 2015 and being named the Best Community College for Veterans by Military Times. The college's innovative programs have significantly improved graduation rates and equitable outcomes.
