Our Story

Picket Fence Foundation, located in Chillicothe, Illinois, was founded in 2021 by Jim and Laura Sniff, inspired by their son Jimmy, who has Autism. Recognizing a significant gap in services and work programs for individuals with disabilities, the Sniffs established this nonprofit to create opportunities within their community. Originally known as Picket Fence Floral and Garden Center, the organization has evolved into a vibrant platform that offers meaningful employment and training for adults with diverse skills and interests. At the heart of Picket Fence Foundation is the commitment to inclusion, ensuring that everyone has the chance to thrive.
