The Phoenix Gay Flag Football League is the premier flag football league for the LGBTQ+ community in Arizona. Founded in 2005, it has grown from a handful of players to nearly 130 participants, running two seasons annually. The league is dedicated to providing a comfortable and competitive environment for all skill levels while giving back to the community through volunteer efforts and strategic partnerships.
Since becoming a 501(c)3 organization in 2018, the PGFFL has utilized fundraisers, events, and the sport of flag football to break down stereotypes, eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and educate the public about the LGBTQ+ community.
