About Philomusica of Delaware Valley
Founded in 1979 by the late Dr. Mardia Melroy, Philomusica Chorale has been a beacon of choral music in the Delaware Valley. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Gayle Wieand since 2005, this auditioned volunteer chorus brings together singers and audiences from across the region. With performances held in the Chestnut Hill area of Northwest Philadelphia and surrounding communities, Philomusica presents a diverse array of choral music, enriched by collaborations with dancers, visual artists, and even audience members.
