Our Story

In 2011, Lenize discovered the plight of 376 homeless children in Onslow County, igniting her passion to create Philippians Place. By purchasing her father's rental property and collaborating with local shelters, she laid the foundation for a nonprofit dedicated to transitional housing.

Impact

Since its inception, Philippians Place has connected hundreds of individuals with vital resources, guiding them towards independence. An impressive 80% of clients in the transitional housing program achieve self-sustainability.
