Our Story

Peyton’s Promise began in 2007 when a young girl named Peyton was inspired by a news story about a boy who didn’t know what breakfast, lunch, and dinner were. This sparked a desire to help children in her community who faced hunger. What started as a single food drive has blossomed into a robust organization that supports over 55 local food pantries in Marathon County.

Our Impact

As a vital link between food drives and hunger relief organizations, Peyton’s Promise encourages donations of fresh, healthy food while eliminating outdated items. With hundreds of volunteers and over 180 advocates, the organization actively raises awareness about hunger and keeps food pantry shelves stocked.
