Our Story

PETS OF AGUIRRE WELFARE SHELTER INC, known as PAWS, is a dedicated non-profit animal welfare organization located in Quepos, Costa Rica. This all-volunteer team works tirelessly to rescue hundreds of dogs and cats each year, providing essential services such as spaying and neutering thousands of animals. With an average of 100 animals in care, PAWS prepares them for loving homes while promoting animal welfare education in the community.
